Equiom Linguistic Labs and The Associated Press launch StyleGuard for Outlook
Redmond, Wash. -- Equiom Linguistic Labs Inc. today announced the general launch
of software technology that automates the proofing process for Associated Press
style for Microsoft Outlook.
The software, StyleGuard for Outlook, is built on the same decision-rule engine
that powers StyleGuard for Word, and functions similarly to check email messages
for AP Stylebook’s spelling, language, punctuation, usage and journalistic style
guidelines.

Equiom and The Associated Press launched the Windows version of AP StyleGuard for
Word in 2011, followed by the Mac version in 2012. Since its release, the software

10.6.8 or above (Snow Leopard), 10.7 (Lion), or 10.8 (Mountain Lion) running Office
for Mac 2011.
